Hope everyone's doing well
The biggest problem in the world right now is RACISM. Yes, racism has been evolving and eating up the minds of several people to act inhumanly and immoral towards other people who are a gift of GOD. Everyone is special, everyone is a gift of God, none can be superior and none can be inferior.
This article is completely based on providing the readers with everything worth knowing about Racism and it's various types and terminologies. Firstly, let's go with the basic introduction.
RACISM: What is it?
Racism is where someone considers you inferior because of your color, ethnicity, nationality, or race. The result of this is that they treat you differently or wrongly, it is called racial discrimination. When we think of racism, in most cases we imagine America, and what is more surprising is the developed and powerful America that it is today. Many people associate racism with dislike or mistreatment of black people based on their skin color while this definition would be incorrect. In fact, racism can take many forms and affect people around the world: it makes it harder to get work and become part of society just because of your color or nation. In this article, we will talk briefly about all these forms of racism today and their consequences.
Racial bullying is a type of racism where someone's bullying focuses on race, ethnicity, or culture. Racism and racial bullying are wrong and can help you to stop it.

Racist and racist hooliganism may include:
- Saying racist names or sending abusive messages or threats
- Seeing your stuff damaged or seeing racist graffiti
- Personal attacks, including violence or assault
- Being left out, segregated or excluded
- People make assumptions about you because of your color, race or culture
- Being made to feel how you look
- Feminist jokes, including jokes about your color, race, or culture of nationality.
- Casteism can affect anyone. It can make you feel that you are not important or fit into you. You may feel upset, depressed, or angry. You can still be affected by it when it is not aimed at you, such as you hear discriminating against someone's culture.
Basic types of racism:
Racism is based on beliefs, stereotypes, superstitions, and generalizations involving people who have different skin colors. These people often receive inferior status and are being cut off on power, resources, and the many opportunities that the modern world can afford. Even now, when we all try to avoid racism in our everyday lives, some politicians and journalists promote such ideas to justify their actions and opinions on various issues. It mainly involves job and home problems and crime.
We can isolate such racism:
Harassment. It is an abuse (verbal or physical) induced by differences in a race that can lead to attacks on people and property. This threatening behavior can occur anywhere: at school, college, work, public transport and location, street, and even at home. It turns people into victims;
Attacks. You've probably encountered these news stories when black people are attacked and even killed just for being black, etc. The police may be powerless to investigate.
Another type is so-called institutional racism when people suffer simply because racism is integrated into the social structure: the legal system, police, business, etc. This is explained by some people as a failure to provide a suitable and professional service because of their skin color or origin. This behavior can be seen in attitudes and can be explained by prejudice, thoughtlessness, and ignorance. Casteism does not mean disliking anyone: it is a hierarchical system of taking advantage of race.
Many people (predominantly white ones) underestimate the depth of the problem and thus understand the consequences that can occur for a larger system. There are seven factors of racism:
1. Organize people into special groups into categories;
2. Separation. It constructs racist preferences, perceptions, and beliefs;
3. Fractions. They trigger group loyalty and competition (this is based on historical reasons) keeping the white and black communities separate;
4. Hierarchy. It treats, experiences and views people like a racist;
5. Power. It legalizes racism at micro and macro levels;
6. Passivism. Ignoring or denying the existence of casteism encourages other people to do the same;
7. Media. It idealizes white people and thus reduces colored people.
Passive racism is probably the most common and dangerous because people just don't care. Discussion on this subject is particularly relevant today. Now scientists do many experiments to show people that black people have similar bodies of white color and there is no difference between them. However, each person should try to change their negative outlook to overcome the racism epidemic and help the world become a better-united society.
What can you do if you ever face racism?
1. This might not be the best but a good option to walk away. Doing such you'll actually avoid any possible harm to yourself in the course of facing racial bullying. It'd be better for you to be quiet and calm for the moment and take action when you're in your comfort zone.
2. Talk to your trusted ones regarding the matter. It's better to consult an elderly and knowledgeable person who could possibly help you out rather than just consoling you to be OK with the situation.
3. The next thing you can do is maintain a record such as a diary where you mention everything that's going around you. This helps you to express better to someone when such a situation comes up.
4. If in any way you find some threat to yourself, take the help of Police or Local authorities. They might be able to support you at the best level. Taking the help of someone who holds power is always a wise option.
5. Find some Non-Profitable Institutions and Organisations that help to fight against racism and other social discriminations. Keep your approach towards them and try to report your case at any cost!
Friends, let stand up against such inhuman behavior and make this world a better place to live in. We all are the same, no one is superior.
Let's join hands to fight against this devil.
